May is Mental Health Month! A time to recognize the importance of connection, wellness, and supporting one another in our school communities.
This week, from May 4–10, Grasslands Public Schools is celebrating Mental Health Week. Throughout the division, our MHCB and wellness teams will be leading a variety of activities to support the well-being of students and staff.
From wellness walks and lunchtime dance competitions to spirit days, Hats On for Mental Health, Chalk the Walk, and daily mental health announcements, schools will be finding meaningful ways to build connection, encourage resilience, and share practical strategies that support positive mental health every day.
Thank you to our teams for helping create school communities where wellness and belonging are part of the conversation.

Due to ongoing technical issues at Griffin Park School, we are postponing the Screenagers movie event originally planned for May 7. The event will now take place at the end of September, with the new date to be announced.

For families who are homeschooling, considering school for the first time, or looking for a small and caring classroom, Gem School offers a unique option for Kindergarten.

Pre-K is for children who may benefit from extra support in their early years. Through play-based learning, children have opportunities to build communication, social, emotional, motor, and independence skills that help support their growth and prepare them for Kindergarten.
