Grasslands’ Alan Kloepper honoured with AEFAA Life Membership Award
Grasslands Public Schools is proud to congratulate Alan Kloepper on receiving a Life Membership from the Alberta Educational Facilities Administrators Association (AEFAA).
This recognition celebrates Alan’s long-standing commitment and contributions to the school facilities industry across Alberta. Alan has been with Grasslands Public Schools since September 1988 and has also been involved with AEFAA since September 1988.
Throughout his career, Alan has played an important role in supporting safe, comfortable, and well-maintained learning environments for students and staff. His leadership within AEFAA includes serving as President in 1999/2000. In 2013, Alan became the Executive Director of AEFAA, where he continues to support and advocate for school facilities professionals across the province.
In 2004, Alan was also awarded the Premier’s Award of Excellence by former Alberta Premier Ralph Klein for his work with Grasslands Public Schools.
“Receiving this award is very meaningful for me, as this industry is a very important part of the education business,” said Alan. “Keeping staff and students safe and comfortable carries a lot of responsibility, and I’m glad to be involved.”
Grasslands Public Schools is grateful for Alan’s many years of service, leadership, and dedication to supporting school communities across the division and throughout Alberta.
